This hybrid bond combines the best attributes of multiple bond types to create a wheel that’s optimized for durability and cutting performance. These diamond wheels are available in two formulations to meet highly automated “lights out” flute grinding process requirements:
X96A: Offers excellent form retention and increased parts per truing. This formulation exhibits minimal grinding wheel wear. Typically recommended for complex drill forms and small-diameter tools.
X96B: Free-cutting formulation designed to achieve maximum removal rates with reduced wear on the grinding wheel. Typically recommended for carbide end mills and larger-diameter tools.
