3M™ Finesse-It 5730 pad has a diameter of 3 in. These pads are ideal for buffing automotive OEM, marine, and aerospace coatings. These wool pads are also effective for removing finishing abrasive sand scratches, oxidation, and other paint surface defects.
Use the 3M™ Wool Compounding Pad for a finish on paints, clear coats, and composite surfaces. This pad supports efficient compounding and works seamlessly with 3M compounds and attachment systems. Available as a double-sided pad with 100% untwisted wool for aggressive compounding or a single-sided pad with a 60/40 wool blend for refining paint defects. The double-sided pad attaches easily with a 3M™ Adapter, while the single-sided version uses the Hookit™ system for quick changes. Both integrate with the 3M™ Perfect-It™ paint finishing system, ensuring high performance in removing surface defects.
